Located in the heart of Wolkenstein and surrounded by the spectacular mountain scenery of the Dolomites, the Pranives Ice Sports Centre is home to our iceDOME Camp in Val Gardena. The modern ice rink impresses not only with its excellent training conditions but also with its remarkable architecture. Large glass facades, abundant natural light, and a stylish design create a bright and inspiring atmosphere that makes every training session a special experience.
On the ice, skaters benefit from ideal conditions to work on technique, jumps, Spins, Steps, and choreography. The modern facility offers outstanding ice quality and provides the perfect environment for focused training in a professional yet welcoming setting.
Connected directly to the ice rink is a fully equipped sports hall, which we use for Athletic Training, warm-up sessions, and additional off-ice activities. This allows on-ice and off-ice training to be seamlessly combined, while the short distances between facilities ensure a smooth and efficient daily schedule.
What makes Pranives truly special, however, is its unique combination of modern sports infrastructure and breathtaking natural surroundings. While intensive training takes place on the ice, the majestic Dolomites provide an inspiring backdrop that makes every stay in Val Gardena unforgettable.
The Pranives Ice Sports Centre is much more than just a training venue. It is a place where skaters from around the world come together, build friendships, and share their passion for figure skating.
The Pranives Ice Sports Centre is one of the leading figure skating training venues in the Italian Alps, offering excellent conditions for skaters of all ages and skill levels. Thanks to its modern facilities, short walking distances, and unique location in the heart of Val Gardena, it has become the home of our iceDOME Camps in the Dolomites.
To help you find your way around, this page features a venue map highlighting all key areas of the facility. From the ice rink and Athletic Training area to the camp meeting points, all essential facilities are conveniently located within easy walking distance of one another.

The ice rink is the heart of our training operations in Val Gardena and serves as the venue for all on-ice sessions during our camps. The excellent ice conditions provide the ideal environment for technique, programs, jumps, Spins, and overall skating development.
The grandstand offers parents, accompanying family members, and guests the opportunity to watch training sessions, program run-throughs, and special camp moments throughout the week.
Please note that the ice rink is generally cooler than the facilities in Oberstdorf. If you plan to watch training sessions from the stands, we recommend bringing a warm jacket or blanket to ensure a comfortable experience.

The Dance Room, equipped with large mirrors, provides the perfect environment for developing essential skills for figure skating. Here, participants work on posture, expression, flexibility, and body control. These sessions complement on-ice training and further enhance coordination, sense of rhythm, and overall body awareness.
In case of unfavorable weather conditions, the second half of the hall can also be used for Athletic Training sessions. However, dance classes are not affected and can continue as scheduled without interruption.

In the Athletic Training Area, a variety of off-ice sessions complement the daily on-ice training program. Through targeted strength, stability, coordination, and flexibility exercises, participants develop the physical foundations needed for greater confidence, control, and performance on the ice. At the same time, these activities help reinforce movement patterns and reduce the risk of injury.
When weather conditions are favorable, Athletic Training sessions take place in the outdoor area behind the ice rink. Should the weather be unfavorable, the ground still be wet, or temperatures become too high, suitable indoor facilities, including the sports hall, are available to ensure that training can continue as planned without interruption.

Our Spinning Area is dedicated to one of the most important elements in figure skating: rotation. Here, we offer specialized off-ice training designed to develop the rotational skills required for both Spins and jumps.
Using spinners and targeted coordination exercises, skaters work on axis stability, body control, balance, and rotational awareness. These sessions help athletes improve consistency, build confidence, and develop the technical foundations needed for successful rotations on the ice.
By refining rotational mechanics in an off-ice environment, skaters can focus on technique and body alignment while minimizing distractions, making Spinning-Training an ideal complement to on-ice practice.

The iceDOME Office is your primary point of contact throughout the entire camp week for information, organization, and support. Whether you have questions about the training schedule, weekly program, or camp activities in general, our team is always happy to assist you and help make your stay in Val Gardena as enjoyable as possible.
In the spacious office area, you will also find the iceDOME Shop featuring a selection of official merchandise, as well as the LOGOS Shop. Here, participants, families, and guests can browse a variety of products and take home a special souvenir from their iceDOME experience.
Our tip: If this is your first time joining us in Val Gardena, we recommend taking a moment after arrival to familiarize yourself with the venue map.
