Technique forms the foundation of athletic development in figure skating. In small training groups, our coaches work closely with skaters on the key technical elements of skating and jumping. Through individualized coaching, movement patterns can be precisely analyzed, corrected, and continuously improved.

Skating Skills and Steps Technique
A strong skating technique is the foundation of all elements on the ice. During training, we focus on improving glide quality to achieve greater speed, efficiency, and confidence. Skaters learn how to use and shift their center of gravity effectively in order to develop better edge control and more powerful movement patterns.
Another key focus is the coordination of arms, legs, and upper body in harmony with the skating rhythm. Through targeted exercises, participants expand their repertoire of Steps and improve their versatility on the ice. The goal is a smooth, dynamic, and technically sound skating style that provides the foundation for advanced programs in both competition and choreography.

Jump Technique
In jump training, we focus on all phases of a jump, from the preparation and take-off to the flight phase and landing.
Particular attention is given to optimizing approaches and entries, as well as the effective use of the arms and free leg. Skaters learn how to efficiently generate momentum and convert it into rotational energy. At the same time, we work on achieving a stable and compact air position, allowing for better control and higher rotational speeds.
The quality of take-off direction and take-off position is also specifically addressed. During the landing phase, the focus is on stability, balance, and a controlled exit. Through continuous work on technical details, skaters gain greater confidence in their existing jumps and build the foundation for new challenges on the ice.

Individual Development and Sustainable Progress
Our technique training is designed to develop and reinforce proper movement patterns over the long term. By working in small groups, technical focuses can be adapted to individual needs, allowing personal development goals to be pursued in a targeted manner.
At the same time, we recognize that every athlete brings unique movement patterns and individual characteristics. Functional and effective variations in technique and execution are consciously respected and encouraged. In this way, we create the foundation for greater confidence, higher quality, and sustainable progress in figure skating.
