In Expression, we combine technical skating skills with movement, music, and creativity. The goal is to help skaters develop their individual style on the ice and express emotions authentically.
Through a variety of step sequences performed to different types of music and changing rhythms, coordination, musicality, and expression are developed. At the same time, skaters learn to maintain their glide quality and stability even when the entire body is actively engaged in the movement.
Body language, facial expressions, and gestures play a central role in bringing emotions and stories to life on the ice. In addition, creative role-playing activities encourage an understanding of different characters and forms of expression. Particular emphasis is also placed on the harmonious integration of arm, head, and body movements to create a cohesive and expressive overall performance.
