The 11th-century Bled Castle offers a spectacular view of the lake with the legendary island and the wider surroundings of Gorenjska. The island in Lake Bled, where once stood the sanctuary of the goddess of love, Ziva and where there is now a magnificent Gothic church, is a real eye-catcher.
In the Vintgar gorge, 4 km northwest of Bled, you will experience unspoiled nature. The 1.6km long canyon is notched between vertical mountain walls and offers by the Radovna with its numerous waterfalls, Gumpen and rapids a beautiful sight.
Adrenalin and wild waters can be experienced while rafting on the rivers of Gorjenska. An event where you get wet and splashed in a good mood.
